In preparation for the Drubch\u00f6d of Red Tara, Lama Tsering will grant empowerment to those who are going to receive it for the first time or to those who want to renew their vows.<\/p>\n

This ceremony is part of the Drubch\u00f6d of Tara, but you can register for the empowerment only.<\/p>\n

There are no prerequisites.<\/p>\n

It is not permitted to photograph, record or film the inside of the meditation room or the teachings.<\/p>\n

Do not touch the practitioners' objects or musical instruments.<\/p>\n

Do not lie down in the practice and teaching room.<\/p>\n

It is traditional, in the presence of Rinpoches and Lamas, to wait standing until they sit down. Then three prostrations are made as a sign of respect.<\/p>\n

Do not point your feet at statues, lamas or sacred objects.<\/p>\n

Do not walk over sacred texts, practice objects or benches.<\/p>\n

Do not place texts directly on the floor.<\/p>\n

Sacred texts are only loaned for use during meditation practices and should not be taken home or copied without the Temple's permission.<\/p>\n
