Empowerment is a ceremony in which the master authorizes the student to engage in Vajrayana meditation, passing on the blessings of the lineage of a particular practice.<\/p>\n

It is said that receiving empowerment from a realized lama plants the seeds for enlightenment in our minds, creating the causes for us to reveal our true nature.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\"1\/3\"][vc_cta h2=\"\" color=\"juicy-pink\"]In person only.<\/p>\n

There is no need to register for the full retreat to take part in the empowerment.[\/vc_cta][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

\nThere will be consecutive translation from English to Portuguese.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=\"Parking\" tab_id=\"1689615770989-f07f3d35-37df\"][vc_column_text]We have limited spaces in our parking lot. We suggest that participants share the same vehicle.<\/p>\n

Comfortable clothing<\/p>\n

Pillow - if you have one of your own[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=\"Conduct\" tab_id=\"1689615773527-a068a3a8-39f5\"][vc_column_text]- Smoking is not allowed inside or outside the Temple<\/p>\n

- Do not lie down in the practice and teaching area<\/p>\n

- It is traditional, in the presence of Rinpoches and Lamas, to wait standing until they sit down. Then we make three prostrations as a sign of respect.<\/p>\n

- Don't point your feet at statues, lamas or sacred objects<\/p>\n

- Don't walk over sacred texts, practice objects or benches<\/p>\n

- Do not place texts directly on the floor<\/p>\n

- Sacred texts are only loaned for use during meditation practices and should not be taken home or copied without the temple's permission.<\/p>\n

- If you find an object that doesn't belong to you, please hand it in to one of our volunteers on site.<\/p>\n
