Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche's birthday celebration on August 12th, Lama Tsering will grant the Red Tara empowerment to all those who wish to receive it for the first time or to renew their vows!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is empowerment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Empowerment is a ceremony in which the master authorizes the student to engage in Vajrayana meditation by imparting the blessings of the lineage of a particular practice.<\/p>\n<p>It is said that receiving empowerment from a realized lama - and renewing that commitment by receiving empowerment many times - plants the seeds for enlightenment in our minds, thereby creating the causes for us to reveal our\u00a0true\u00a0nature.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\"1\/3\"][vc_cta h2=\"\" txt_align=\"center\" style=\"outline\" color=\"grey\" add_icon=\"left\" i_icon_fontawesome=\"fas fa-users\" i_color=\"black\" i_background_style=\"rounded\" i_size=\"sm\" i_on_border=\"true\"]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This event is in-person only.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_cta][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #d14d42;\"><span class='icon shortcode  ' style='font-size:20px !important;'>&#57923;<\/span>\u00a0 Please read the following information carefully in order to participate<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><span class='icon shortcode  ' style='font-size:20px !important;'>&#58027;<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=\"Program\" tab_id=\"1689616179270-335ec2e4-ef3e\"][vc_column_text]The empowerment will take place between 10am and 12pm.<\/p>\n<p><em>This event is in-person only and will not be broadcast.<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=\"Translation and Broadcast\" tab_id=\"1689616219345-87cd69cb-ad86\"][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This event is in-person only and will not be broadcast.<\/li>\n<li>There will be consecutive translation from English to Portuguese.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=\"What to bring\" tab_id=\"1689616218876-7ff0fd21-f140\"][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Water<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable clothing<\/li>\n<li>Cushion - if you have one of your choice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=\"Conduct\" tab_id=\"1689616218432-f720217f-79e7\"][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Smoking is not allowed inside or outside the Temple<\/li>\n<li>Do not lie down in the practice and teaching environment.<\/li>\n<li>In the presence of Rinpoches and Lamas, it is traditional to remain standing until they are seated.
