Weekend of accumulations at the Temple
This weekend we’ll be performing accumulations at Odsal Ling. Pujas will take place at the normal time, and there will be no teaching.
Celebration of Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche’s birthday
On Monday we will celebrate Chagdud Rinpoche’s birthday at the Temple by offering khatag and butterlamps, as well as Red Tara Tsok.
Taking Life and Death as an Opportunity, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
In August we will have the honor of receiving Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche at Odsal Ling for an evening of teachings.
Ngöndro Retreat with Lama Tsering
On Saturday, August 24, Lama Tsering will continue to teach about Ngöndro, the foundation of all Vajrayana Buddhist practice. In order to participate, you must have taken part in the Ngöndro retreat in July, or previously received instructions about the practice.

Red Tara Drubchöd, with an offering of 100,000 Tsoks
Following the annual tradition at Odsal Ling, we will hold the Red Tara Drubchöd with an offering of 100,000 Tsoks in October. The Drubchöd has ceremonies and offerings that are just as elaborate as those of a Drubchen, but concentrated over a shorter period of time. Lama Tsering will be the vajra master.
Red Tara Empowerment
This empowerment grants the student the blessings of the lineage and the permission to perform the practice of Tara meditation, as revealed by Apong Tertön and brought to us by Chagdud Rinpoche.

Phowa is a Buddhist method through which one can acquire the ability to consciously direct one’s next rebirth. Amitabha empowerment, which will be granted on morning of November 2, is a prerequisite for participating in the teachings.
