DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text] \nChökor Düchen\n\nOn Tuesday (July 9) we will be celebrating Chökor Düchen\, one of the four most sacred periods in the life of  Buddha Shakyamuni\, as it marks the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. After attaining enlightenment\, Buddha reflected for seven weeks on how he could convey the vision that he had achieved. After a request from Indra and Brahma in Sarnath\, he delivered his first teaching\, the teaching on the Four Noble Truths. \nSacred dates are auspicious for us to generate merit and bring benefit to all beings\, as it is said that during these periods positive and negative actions are accumulated millions of times. \nWe invite everyone to pay homage to the Buddha of our age\, whether by applying the teachings\, engaging in virtuous actions\, making offerings\, meditation practices\, or even vows that remind us of our commitments. \nPlan ahead!\n\nTake advantage of this auspicious time when actions are multiplied thousands of times and include virtuous actions in your routine.
